The Communication and Information Technology Department has the dual responsibilities of managing the communication efforts and the information technologies for the City of Hilliard.
The Communication aspect of the department is responsible for providing effective communication with citizens, administration and council, works to increase the understanding of and support for city programs, policies and projects, and to develop positive media relations that provide balanced coverage of city issues.
The Information Technology aspect of the department is responsible for creating an environment of seamless integration between people and technology. The goal of the Information Technology function is to provide all aspects of technology and networking support to every department within the City.
