Hilliard Senior Hall of Fame Committee Seeking Nominations
The Hilliard Senior Citizen Hall of Fame committee is seeking nominations for this year's induction ceremony.
The committee selects one or two honorees for the hall of fame each year -- one living and, if nominations are received, one posthumous -- for a lifetime of service and achievement, as well as how they represent a positive image of aging.
Nominees should exemplify how older people continue to contribute to their communities and respond creatively to retirement, according to the committee.
Nomination forms are available at the Phyllis A. Ernst Senior Center, the Hilliard Community Center, the Hilliard Municipal Building or below. Completed forms must be returned to the Phyllis A. Ernst Senior Center on or before June 1.
Nominees must be 65 years or older and must live in the Hilliard City School District. Additional eligibility criteria and information are on the nomination form.
