City of Hilliard Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update | March 31, 2020Posted March 12, 2020 in Community Alert
On Tuesday, March 31, City Manager Michelle Crandall signed two executive orders needed to promote the health and safety of the Hilliard community and City staff. The orders were revisions to orders signed earlier in March.
The first order extends all City building and facility closures and cancels all events and programs until May 1. This extension aligns with federal social distancing guidelines.
This order includes the Community Center, Senior Center, Municipal Building, Mayor’s Court, the Safety Services Building, public restrooms in parks, playgrounds, and rentals.
All community events and programs sponsored by Recreation and Parks, Hilliard Police, and other City departments also are cancelled, with the exception of meetings by Hilliard City Council, Planning and Zoning, and Board of Zoning Appeals. These public meetings will be streamed live on Facebook to allow public participation.

This order extends through April 30 emergency administrative leave for full-time employees who are unable to work from home. Part-time employees are covered by this order until April 10.
