Council Seeking Applicants for Public Arts Commission Member

Hilliard City Council is seeking applicants to fill a partial term on its Public Arts Commission.

Candidates must be city residents and be qualified by education, experience and/or training in one or more of the following areas: architecture, urban planning, art or architectural history, design, creating art, promoting art, funding art, commissioning art, maintaining or repairing art, art instruction, or having an education in art history and/or the fine arts.

Generally, the PAC advises City Council and the City Manager on the implementation of a public arts program, including the funding, selection, acquisition, maintenance, and placement of public art in the community.

The PAC meets at 5 p.m. on the first Monday of each month at the Municipal Building, 3800 Municipal Way, Hilliard.

Interested residents must submit a letter of interest and résumé to Diane Werbrich, Clerk of Council, by Feb. 3, at the close of business at The purpose of the PAC is more fully outlined in the City Code in Chapter 149, in the City Code.
