Council Seeks Applications for Environmental Sustainability Commission
Posted July 20, 2022 in Commissions & CommitteesHilliard City Council seeks to fill two vacant seats on the city’s Environmental Sustainability Commission (ESC). One is a two-year term (expiring two years from the date of appointment) and the other is a partial term.
Candidates must be Hilliard or Hilliard School District residents and have experience in conservation topics such as education, energy, civil construction/engineering, green building, landscape design, environmental engineering, transit, consulting, law, recycling/solid waste, air and water quality, and environmental health.
The ESC’s purpose is to advise the City on green policies and develop programs that will create or enhance sustainable practices within Hilliard.
The commission meets at 5:45 p.m. on the second Wednesday of each month at the Municipal Building, 3800 Municipal Way, Hilliard. Meetings may also be held virtually, as needed.
Applicants must submit a letter of interest and resume to Kristen Hosni by 5 p.m. July 29 at dwerbrich@hilliardohio.gov
