The City of Hilliard welcomes Emily Ewing as Community Relations Specialist.
Transitioning from communications work in a nearby municipality, Ewing joins Hilliard’s Community Relations Department, where she will collaborate directly with the Recreation and Parks and Operations departments.
“I can’t wait to engage with this vibrant community alongside such a capable team,” Ewing said. “I am so excited to officially call central Ohio my new home.”
Born and raised in Maryland, Ewing moved to Ohio for her undergraduate studies, graduating from Kenyon College in May with a degree in English and creative writing. In her free time, Ewing enjoys drawing, reading, and exploring nature. She is excited to discover all the trails and natural spaces Hilliard has to offer.
As part of her duties with the Recreation and Parks Department, Ewing will contribute towards the development and opening of The Well, the City’s new recreation and wellness center, set to open in 2025.
