Hilliard City Council is accepting letters of interest and resumes from those interested in being appointed to a vacant seat on City Council with a term ending December 31, 2019.
Minimum qualifications to serve on Council are found in the City Charter and include: “Any person who is a registered elector in the City, who has been domiciled for one year in the City or in territory annexed thereto….” A copy of the entire City Charter, including Council responsibilities, can be found on the City website at https://hilliardohio.gov/government/city-council.
To apply, send letter and resume to Lynne Fasone, Clerk of Council, by e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org or mail to 3800 Municipal Way, Hilliard, 43026. Interested candidates must be able to attend the Hilliard City Council meeting on Monday, January 8, 2018 at 7 p.m. for a brief public interview.

The deadline for letter/resume submission is 5 p.m. on Wednesday, January 3, 2018.
