On Monday, July 24, Hilliard City Council appointed nine residents to the newly created Sports Commission. These appointees share a love for living, visiting, and playing in Hilliard.
The Sports Commission was created to make recommendations on how to best use the City’s recreational facilities and parks. This includes formulating the best practices in making field schedules, uses, and rental costs and planning how to best utilize City parks that may be underdeveloped.
The City of Hilliard places great importance on providing the best possible quality of life for its residents. The Sports Commission will ensure that sports and recreational opportunities exist for people of all ages and skill-levels.
