Local Income Tax Deadline Extended to May 17

Posted March 24, 2021 in Administration by Anna Subler

The deadline for filing local and state income taxes has been extended to May 17 to coincide with the federal government’s extended deadline.

Normally, the deadline is April 15, but the deadline was extended because of COVID.

As a reminder, every adult living in the City of Hilliard must file a local income tax form through the Regional Income Tax Agency (RITA) regardless of whether they work in Hilliard or have income. The exception is for senior citizens who live on fixed incomes.
