New Amphitheater Under Construction at Roger A. Reynolds Municipal Park

You might have noticed some construction going on at Roger A. Reynolds Municipal Park over the last few days. A new amphitheater is being built between the park’s sledding hill and pond that will replace the old, outdated stage.

When completed next spring, the wooden structure will not only look much better than the old stage, but it will also be strong on aesthetics and acoustics. The amphitheater will feature a covered pitched roof with lighting and a sufficient number of electrical outlets for various types of venues.

“This shelter is a much-needed addition to Roger A. Reynolds Municipal Park,” said Steve Mazer, Director of Recreation & Parks for the City of Hilliard. “The amphitheater will be great for our big Fourth of July and Fall Festival events, but I also look forward to the new community events that it will bring to the park.”
