Public Service Director Iosue Resigns

Posted March 9, 2020 in Administration by David Ball

Director of Public Service Albert Iosue has tendered his resignation from the City of Hilliard effective Monday, March 9.

City Manager Michelle Crandall said she does not expect to immediately replace Iosue. Instead, she will assess the director’s role to ensure the organization of each work group within the department is structured to best address the City’s changing needs for the coming years.

Public Service includes the divisions of Engineering, Operations, and Planning and Building Standards.

“Mr. Iosue has served this City as both a department head and, previously, as an elected City Council member,” Crandall said. “The City wishes him well as he moves forward to pursue other endeavors.”

Iosue was hired by former City Mayor Don Schonhardt to fill the Public Service Director position in March 2019 after former director Clyde “Butch” Seidle passed away in February 2019.
