Annual Tree Lighting
To ensure the health and safety of our community, the Hilliard Tree Lighting drive through event at Weaver Park has been CANCELLED due to Franklin County moving to level 4 (or “purple”) on the Public Health Advisory’s COVID-19 map.
The tree will still be lit on Dec. 6 at 8 p.m. and streamed live on Facebook. The public is invited to watch safely from home as City Council President Andy Teater lights the tree alongside Hilliard Division of Police Chaplain Corby LaCroix, who will give the invocation.
The community is still encouraged to participate in Cram the Cruiser. The need is greater than ever this year, please consider donating new winter apparel (coats, hats, sweatpants and gloves) to students in the Hilliard School District. Those who wish to make a donation may use the collection box at the Hilliard Community Center, 3800 Veterans Memorial Drive. Due to COVID precautions, the box is located outside, near the doorway, and will be monitored by staff members between the hours of 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, but the box will be available after hours. Donations will be collected through Dec. 16.
Thank you to the Cram the Cruiser sponsors!
