The City of Hilliard has invested more than $4 million so far to construct HiFio, a 30-mile fiber optic network, creating more connections between broadband providers and businesses. The carrier-neutral HiFio network is available to businesses, residents, and schools, providing more competition among high-speed internet providers – which results in cost savings for customers.
The City has partnered with Converge Technologies, a local technology incubator, to promote the growth and commercialization of new technologies. The City of Hilliard’s creative and open-minded technology and economic development staff will work alongside companies to help visions come to life and minimize financial and resource barriers to your success.
The City’s partnership with Hilliard City Schools trains the next generation of tech professionals, keeping jobs right here in Hilliard.
“Hilliard City Lab, a one-of-a-kind public-private collaboration, creates a unique technology testbed that leverages City resources to help high-tech businesses create, test, and launch innovative solutions.
