The City of Hilliard’s Economic Development team is excited to launch a new series called #ChooseHilliard, highlighting the growth of local businesses and the real possibilities that are fostered here.

The Baesman Group started as a printing company and now offer a full range of services from direct marketing strategy and personalized communications to direct mail and fulfillment. The family-owned business started in Central Ohio in 1952 and eventually moved their corporate headquarters to Hilliard in 1995. Since then, they’ve grown their business five times, and currently produce $35 million in annual revenue.

The Eco Plumbers is a full service plumbing and HVAC company with its home base right here in Hilliard. Since their inception in 2007, “The Eco Plumbers” have grown into a thriving business with over 200 team members, 125 trucks, and $30 million in annual revenue. 

 

Plus, they’ve made a commitment to equip the next generation of plumbing professionals by starting “The Eco Plumbers University”.

Advanced Drainage Systems, Inc. recently worked with the Westwood Fieldhouse to make the building on Brown Park Drive a reality. The 17,000-square-foot indoor basketball and volleyball venue opened in January 2022. In order for the gym to meet storm water management requirements, ADS installed their Underground Stormwater Detention and Filtration System, underneath the future parking lot. 

Sutphen Corporation is the largest and oldest family-owned fire truck manufacturer in the United States, with one of their biggest operations in Hilliard. They have a longstanding relationship with Norwich Township Fire and hundreds of fire departments across the country and the world. Sutphen’s Hilliard location started in the early 1970’s and remains a vital part of the economic development landscape here in the City.
