The City of Hilliard is excited to announce the addition of Holly Cloud as the City’s new Prevailing Wage Coordinator in the Finance Department.
Cloud has spent her entire career in development and construction, working as The Ohio State University Senior Project Manager for Facilities Development and Construction, and previously with Turner Construction.
Cloud will serve on a part-time basis as a “checks and balance” liaison for Hilliard construction jobs, ensuring state regulations are met and that taxpayer money is being distributed correctly with wage discrepancies across projects.
“My job is to provide transparency for Hilliard taxpayers,” said Cloud. “We want to make sure all state regulations are being followed by working with payroll and contractors to ensure the process is as efficient and accurate as possible.”
A native of Grandview Heights, Cloud attended Bishop Ready High School and went on to earn her bachelors degree from the University of Kentucky.
“My roots go back a long way with Hilliard, a lot of my family members went to Hilliard Darby so I’ve attended all kinds of sporting events here and used to live here,” Cloud said. “I just love Hilliard period: the people, community, and all the amenities. Now I’m excited to be able to serve residents and add value as part of the Finance Department.”
Cloud currently lives in Plain City with her partner Tim and their two Frenchie dogs Lola and Frankee.
