About the City of Hilliard

Hilliard is a thriving community to nearly 40,000 citizens located in the greater Columbus metro area. Residents and corporate citizens enjoy dependable city and safety services, a highly rated public school system, scenic parks and trails, terrific recreational programs, and a variety of safe and attractive neighborhoods. Situated just west of the Scioto River along I-270, Hilliard is only a 15 to 20-minute commute to downtown Columbus.

Community Relations

Responsible for keeping the City of Hilliard informed, Community Relations handles everything from social media outlets to website updates. The department acts as a go-between for media outlets and is the face behind social media posts on sites like Facebook and Instagram. The goal of the Community Relations Department is to remain transparent and as accurate as possible.
