Property Tax Abatement – Reduces real property taxes on new commercial construction or rehabilitation of existing structures in designated Community Reinvestment Areas.
Tax Increment Financing (TIF) – Redirects a portion of new real estate taxes from commercial property improvements to finance public infrastructure.
Job Growth Incentive – Companies adding high-wage jobs may be eligible to receive an annual payment or refundable tax credit equal to a portion of the new employees’ City of Hilliard income tax withholdings. This program is customizable based on a company’s needs.
Property Assessed Clean Energy (PACE) – Financing program for qualifying energy and water efficiency improvements that allow projects to be financed through assessments on a property owner’s real estate tax bill.
SWACO Business Recycling Program – Offers resources, incentives and recognition to help businesses establish sustainable materials management practices.
Hilliard Fiber Optic Network (HiFiO) – The City of Hilliard constructed a 30-mile fiber optic network. HiFiO is available to businesses, providing more choice and cost savings options for internet service and technology solutions.
Innovation Grant – Available for companies looking to grow R&D investment and high-wage job creation within the City of Hilliard. Grant funding must be used for the acquisition of equipment associated with the development, demonstration and/or commercialization of emerging technologies.
