Kind Care Call
Do you know a local senior who lives alone and might need someone to “check in” on them during the coronavirus emergency? Sign them up for the City of Hilliard Kind Care Call program! City staff will call these seniors on scheduled days to ensure seniors are safe, or to just chat with them during a time they might feel alone and isolated. If the senior cannot be contacted, Hilliard Police will check on them in person. Email Amy Van Huffel at email@example.com or call (614) 876-0747 between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. weekdays to schedule a Kind Care Call.

Email Amy Van Huffel at firstname.lastname@example.org or call (614) 876-0747 between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. weekdays to add them to the Kind Care Card list, and staff will send them cards on the holidays.
The City of Hilliard and SHARE Mobility, a local microtransit company, have partnered to offer Hilliard Express, a two-month pilot senior transportation service.
Hilliard Express will provide free scheduled rides seven days a week to Hilliard residents over the age of 55.
The Hilliard Express will pick seniors up from their private homes or living communities and take them to popular destinations within Hilliard, including dining, shopping, entertainment, parks, and places of worship. Set locations such as specific restaurants and stores are available, but riders may request unique destinations within the city. SHARE’s software enables dynamic routing when scheduled 24-hours in advance via phone or email.
All Hilliard Express vehicles are equipped with professional drivers and access for wheelchairs. While on the shuttle, other riders may be picked up. COVID-19 guidelines will be strictly enforced.
To schedule a ride, seniors or their families can call (833) SHARE-33 or email email@example.com. Starting Nov. 16, seniors or a trusted caretaker may also book directly online at sharemobility.com/rider. View the available destinations on the flyer below and map here.
