The City of Hilliard offers multiple convenient parking options in Downtown Hilliard, including designated public parking lots, on-street parking, and bike parking. Whether you’re visiting for shopping, dining, or an event, free parking is available throughout the downtown area to help make your visit easy and accessible.
Public parking is available in three primary lots:
Downtown Hilliard hosts a variety of events throughout the year, and during larger events, parking lots may reach capacity. When this occurs, overflow parking is available at Hilliard Darby High School.
The high school parking lot is connected to Downtown Hilliard by a shared-use trail and is approximately a five-minute walk from downtown destinations and event activities.
In 2025, the City of Hilliard hired a third-party consultant to conduct a parking study in Downtown Hilliard. The study found that, on average, only about 29% of downtown parking spaces are occupied outside of special events, such as Celebration at the Station. When parking areas fill up, visitors are encouraged to park at Hilliard Darby High School and take the short 0.35-mile walk to downtown.
