City hires new GIS Analyst, Robert Verstraete

Welcome Robert Verstraete

The City of Hilliard has welcomed a new GIS Analyst, Robert Verstraete. Robert will play a pivotal role in managing, analyzing, and visualizing special data to support various City departments. Much of his work will include water, sanitary sewer, stormwater, and fiber optics.

Robert is new to Central Ohio, having worked for the City of Toledo for the past 2 years and in GIS work for the past five. He is “pretty pumped about this opportunity” and is excited to get “more exposure to what I’ve been doing with GIS and building on that experience.”

In his free time, Robert is an avid biker and reader. He and his wife are enjoying married life and are currently preparing for their first child.

Welcome to the City, Robert!
