Council accepting non-profit Community Grant requests through Aug. 31

Hilliard City Council will be accepting applications from non-profit organizations located in and serving the Hilliard community for 2026 Community Grants.

To be eligible, non-profits must be registered with the IRS as a 501c3. They must be located in and serve the Hilliard community and must submit all paperwork required as part of the process by Aug. 31.

Applications will be considered as part of the Cityโ€™s annual operating budget. This is a competitive process, and application does not guarantee funding will be allocated by Council.

To be considered for funding, applications must meet one of the following goals:

  • Be activities and/or events that appeal to a broad segment of Hilliard residents.
  • Enhance Hilliardโ€™s image or increase media coverage.
  • Be activities or events that add to Hilliardโ€™s quality of life, vibrancy, character and resident involvement.
  • Be services that help the residents of Hilliard.

Hilliard Community Grants improve the quality of life for our residents, corporate citizens, and visitors. These funds are invested back into the community through designated activities and events that enhance and directly benefit the City of Hilliard and its residents. Please note this is a competitive application process and submission of an application does not guarantee funding.
