Hilliard Helps is the City of Hilliard’s new online and mobile tool for reporting non‑emergency issues quickly and easily. Whether you’re spotting a pothole, requesting chipper service, or reporting a damaged sign, Hilliard Helps connects your request directly to the right City team.

How to Submit a Request & Create Your Account

To make an account, follow the steps below to create a service request.

  1. Click the button above or open the Hilliard Helps app
  2. Choose a request type or search by keyword
  3. Pin the exact location on the map
  4. Add a description and optional photo
  5. Select how you want to submit:
    As yourself (full communication & updates)
    Hidden identity (private but still submitted)
    Guest (no account or updates)

When choosing to submit as yourself or with hidden identity, you will then be prompted to sign into your account or create a new account. Add your information according to the steps onscreen.

If using the web version of Hilliard Helps, you will need to allow pop-ups in your browser. The account creation process is powered by CivicPlus

All requests are routed directly to the Public Service Department for review, tracking, and resolution.

Why should you create an account?

You don’t need an account to file a request but having one lets you: 

  • Receive updates on request progress
  • Communicate with staff
  • Get helpful location-based alerts such as road closures and planned work

Hilliard Helps replaces the City’s previous Mobile 311 system.
