City hires Keenan Thompson as Community Center Custodian

Welcome Keenan Thompson

The City of Hilliard welcomes Keenan Thompson as Community Center Custodian! Keenan joins us from a position with the Hilliard City School District, where he worked as a custodian at Memorial Middle School for seven years.

In his new position, Keenan will help keep the Community Center clean, safe, and orderly, performing custodial duties necessary to maintain the facility.

In addition to having worked in the Hilliard City School District, Keenan used to live in the Hilliard area and is familiar with the City. He is returning to his roots in another way, as well; his very first job was with the Recreation and Parks Department.

“Everybody wants a job that they can enjoy,” Keenan said. “You don’t want it to feel like a job. You want to be happy when you come into work, so I think that’s what I’m more excited about — just meeting new people, seeing some new faces.”

Keenan is also a cook for P.F. Changs and has worked in the restaurant for 14 years. In his spare time, he enjoys playing basketball and working out, and is a Cavs fan.

Welcome to the City, Keenan!
