Shop small in Hilliard this holiday season

Looking to shop small this holiday season? Destination Hilliard is hosting two events to help you support local businesses.

Pink Friday, held the Friday before Thanksgiving, encourages shoppers to visit small businesses before the traditional Black Friday rush. While Black Friday is typically the busiest shopping day of the year across the United States, many people spend it at big-box stores. Pink Friday puts a local spin on the day by spotlighting small businesses.

Last year, the event brought an estimated 4,700 people to Downtown Hilliard. Join the Facebook event to learn what local businesses have planned.

Another seasonal favorite, Holly Hop: Sip, Shop & Stroll, will take place Dec. 11 from 6–9 p.m. The festive evening features local shops, restaurants, and more than 50 vendors offering food, drinks, and holiday gifts. Visitors can expect a lively atmosphere filled with music, holiday decor, and unique finds from Hilliard’s makers and entrepreneurs.
