How street sweeping works in the City of Hilliard
During the months of April through October, crews perform sweeping on each road in the City once per month. This service is on a regular schedule, and cannot be requested by residents. The street sweeper is used on an as-needed basis after storms, special events, and accidents.
What does street sweeping accomplish?
Street sweeping removes the accumulations of trash, leaves, and dirt within the gutters, which helps the City to maintain an aesthetically pleasing environment.
