The City of Hilliard’s Community Relations Department brought home the top prize at the 2026 PRism Awards, earning the organization’s prestigious Best of Show Campaign honor for the first time in City history.

The PRism Awards, presented by the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) central Ohio chapter, recognize outstanding public relations work from a wide range of industries across central Ohio. Each year, agencies, corporations, and municipalities compete for recognition in more than two dozen categories.

The top entry in each category receives a PRism Award.

The City of Hilliard won PRism Awards in the following categories:

  • Integrated Communications: Flex: Filling 100 Positions in 90 Days with a $600 Integrated Campaign
  • Presentations/Webinars/Speeches: Welcome to The Well: Grand Opening Speech
  • Use of Data/Analytics: Data, not Drama: Turning a Hidden Pattern into Operational Results

The City of Hilliard also won the Best of Show Campaign award, the top overall honor presented at the PRism Awards, which recognizes the strongest campaign submitted across all categories. This marks the first time the City of Hilliard has earned the prestigious recognition.

  • Best of Show Campaign: Flex: Filling 100 Positions in 90 Days with a $600 Integrated Campaign

“These awards reflect the creativity, dedication and teamwork our communications staff brings to serving Hilliard every day,” said Director of Community Relations Andrea Litchfield. “Whether we’re helping recruit seasonal employees, promoting community programs and services, or sharing milestone moments like the opening of The Well, our goal is always to connect residents with opportunities and experiences that strengthen our community.”

Founded in 1950, the Central Ohio PRSA Chapter has become a leading resource for the professional growth and development of Columbus’ public relations professionals. Today, the organization serves more than 250 members across the agency, corporate, government, and nonprofit sectors.
