Hilliard Named Best Suburb To Do Business

Hilliard Means Business - Voted Best Suburb To Do Business by Columbus CEO

Everyone knows Hilliard is a great place for businesses to succeed. Now, readers of Columbus CEO magazine have confirmed it!

On Friday, the City of Hilliard was named the Best Suburb To Do Business by the readers of Columbus CEO magazine.

“Hilliard is built for the future and the central Ohio business community is taking notice,” said Hilliard City Manager Michelle Crandall. “The City is home to everything from high-tech companies and homegrown businesses to internationally respected corporate headquarters. We’re excited to foster an environment that encourages public and private partnerships, sustainable growth, and innovative planning.”

There are approximately 1,104 companies in Hilliard that employ more than 17,000 people and contribute to more than one billion dollars in estimated annual sales.

This is the first year Hilliard has won the coveted award after being named a runner-up in 2022.

As an important part of the growing Columbus Region, the City of Hilliard is the nexus of friendly, small town living and big city opportunities. No matter the industry, developing in Hilliard promises strong economic value, a rich work life balance and — most of all — an excellent place to call home.

Best of Business is Columbus CEO’s longest-running recognition program, and the only one in which readers have the final say. This year readers voted on 83 categories.

The City will be recognized in the Fall 2023 issue of Columbus CEO and at columbusceo.com, as well as at an October event.
