Litchfield named community relations director

The City of Hilliard has appointed Andrea Litchfield as its next community relations director.

Litchfield has served the City for the past eight years in a variety of communications roles, providing strategic support to the Police, Economic Development, Planning, Engineering, and Transportation & Mobility departments.

In her new position, she will lead the Community Relations Department and oversee all municipal communications, public relations, marketing, and branding efforts.

“Serving this community is truly an honor,” she said. “I love being able to inform, engage, and even entertain our residents while sharing the stories behind the City services and resources that support their daily lives.”

She is an active member of the Central Ohio Public Information Network (COPIN) and has been recognized with top honors from the City-County Communications and Marketing Association (3CMA) and the Central Ohio Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA).

Litchfield holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from The Ohio State University and a master’s degree in communication from Ohio University.
