The City of Hilliard is launching a new initiative aimed at welcoming and supporting residents with the debut of the One Hilliard Community Resource Fair, set for Saturday, April 11, from 2 to 4 p.m. at The Well in Hilliard.
Organized in partnership with Global Humanitarian Aid & Social Development (GHASD), the free event is designed to connect new residents with essential services and community resources.
City leaders say the event is part of a broader effort to ensure all residents feel informed, included, and empowered to participate fully in Hilliard’s civic and community life.
“This event is about building connections and making sure everyone who calls Hilliard home feels welcomed and supported,” said Hilliard City Council President Emily Cole. “I’m excited to offer this opportunity for residents to learn about the many services and organizations that make our community strong.”
Attendees will have the opportunity to meet representatives from a wide range of local agencies and organizations. Planned participants include Hilliard’s police and recreation & parks departments, Norwich Township Fire Department, Focus Hilliard, Hilliard City Schools, the Hilliard Food Pantry, Taste of Peace, CAIR-Ohio, and CRIS.
In addition to informational tables, voter registration opportunities and translation services will be available to ensure accessibility for all attendees.
City officials hope the event will serve as a bridge for new residents, helping them navigate available resources while encouraging deeper engagement in the economic, civic, social, and cultural life of Hilliard.
The One Hilliard Community Resource Fair is free and open to the public.
