Pearl welcomed as Athletic Turf Maintenance Manager

Zachary Pearl

The City of Hilliard welcomes Zack Pearl as our new Athletic Turf Maintenance Manager for the Hilliard Athletic Complex.

Zack joins the Recreation and Parks Department, where he will oversee the management, operations, and maintenance of the department’s athletic facilities. He will also assist in hiring and training additional staff, as well as coordinating the upkeep of all facilities to ensure high-quality playing surfaces.

With seven years in the turf grass industry under his belt, Zack is no stranger to athletic turf maintenance. He graduated from Eastern Kentucky University with a degree in turf grass management. For two years, Zack worked for the Lexington Legends, a minor league baseball team in Central Kentucky. He most recently joined us from a golf course in Central Kentucky.

“I like the idea of enhancing a community and building a safe athletic complex for everybody to enjoy and use,” Zack said. “I’m excited to be here!”

In his free time, Zack enjoys the outdoors, fishing, and hiking. He is also a Bengals fan.

Welcome to the City, Zack!
