The Heather Ridge playground project is on the way!

Beginning last May, the City placed an open call to residents for ideas and advice on designing a new playground at Heather Ridge Park to replace the existing, aging equipment.

Using those ideas, the City has designed a new playground, set to begin construction in late March. Preliminary work is already underway with the removal of the existing playground equipment.

Next, the contractor will pour concrete and move dirt in late March and early April, with the new equipment to be installed in April and May.

The City anticipates the project to be completed in June, just in time for a summer of fun!

Stay tuned for more information regarding construction.
