The City of Hilliard has welcomed Emma Cedillo as a communications administrator within the Community Relations Department.
In this role, Cedillo will support a variety of communications and public information initiatives. She will work closely with the Economic Development Department to promote Hilliard businesses, highlight community events, and share stories that reflect the City’s growth and vibrancy.
Cedillo graduated with a bachelor’s degree in strategic communication from The Ohio State University in 2020. Prior to joining the City, she served as a communications specialist at SMU Dedman School of Law in Dallas.
“It feels great to be back in Columbus and contribute to the community that I now call home,” she said. “I’m grateful for the opportunity to help share the stories of Hilliard’s residents, businesses, and the many initiatives that make this city such a special place.”
Cedillo lives in Dublin with her husband and their two dogs, Chip and Flash. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling and exploring new places with her family.
