Big & Rich to Headline Freedom Fest

The City of Hilliard is excited to announce the return of Freedom Fest, the City’s annual celebration of Independence Day, with live music by nationally known country band Big & Rich.

Big & Rich are America’s Technicolor cowboys. John Rich and Big Kenny are first-rate musicians, songwriters, producers, and entertainers. Together, they are one of the most truly original musical forces ever unleashed on a welcoming world. Big & Rich have made a career of being relatable and musically relevant since exploding into the public consciousness in 2003 as the rarest of breeds—true country music game changers. With 2004’s triple-platinum “Horse of a Different Color,” they were able to tap into the best strands of a wide spectrum of popular music, filter them through their pens and voices and produce a sound that is instantly recognizable, if not classifiable.

The band’s biggest hits include “Lost In This Moment,” “Save a Horse, Ride a Cowboy”, “Holy Water”, “”Big Time”, “Comin’ To Your City”, “8th of November”, “That’s Why I Pray”, and “Run Away With You”.

Freedom Fest will take place on Thursday, July 4, 2024. Big & Rich and their opening acts will begin performing at 5 p.m. at Roger A. Reynolds Municipal Park, 3800 Veterans Memorial Dr. Attendees will enjoy live music from nationally known artists, a large kid zone, food trucks and one of the biggest fireworks shows in central Ohio.

Watch our website, social media, and weekly Hilliard Happenings e-newsletter for more details, including opening acts, shuttle information, an event map, rules and regulations, and more.
