Get ready, Hilliard! Summer is just around the corner, and with it comes a full lineup of exciting events for all ages. From hands-on experiences to live music and outdoor fitness, there’s something for everyone to enjoy as the season heats up.

Celebration at the Station

Hilliard’s favorite summer concert series is back with a full lineup of exciting bands. All concerts will be held in Hilliard’s Station Park beginning at 6:30 p.m. Please note, there will be no concert held Thursday, July 2.

Looking to enjoy your favorite beverage? The DORA (Designated Outdoor Refreshment Area) is open daily downtown from noon to 9 p.m. for guests 21 and up. Drinks must be purchased from an authorized location – see our map for the details.

Grab a drink, enjoy our downtown businesses, and settle in for the first concert of the season.

Motivation at the Station

For those wanting to get active this summer, our annual exercise series will return Saturday, June 6 in Hilliard’s Station Park with a strength training class from 7 to 7:50 a.m. and a yoga class from 8 to 8:50 a.m.

No need to register, simply bring a mat and water bottle and meet us in the park. Check the weather hotline for cancellations: (614) 334 – 2598, option 2.

This series will continue each Saturday through Sept. 26. Please note, there will be no class on June 20, July 4, or Sept. 5.

Bring the Zoo to You

Heads up, animal lovers! The Columbus Zoo is coming to Hilliard Sunday, June 7 from 4 to 6 p.m. in Britton Farms Park.

Learn all about their animals from knowledgeable docents – plus enjoy a craft, airbrush tattoo artist, and balloon twisters.

Lunchtime Live

For those looking for a relaxing start to their weekend – or a nice place to enjoy their Friday lunch – join us for Lunchtime Live on Friday, June 12, Friday, July 10, and Friday, Aug. 14.

Live music will fill Weaver Park from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. The July 10 concert will have music geared towards kids.

Sprout’s Night Out

Kids will rule the evening during Sprout’s Night Out on Sunday, June 14 from 4 to 6 p.m.

Dive into an America 250 celebration complete with face painting, balloon twisting, a DJ, games, and more in Hilliard’s Station Park.

Sprout’s Live

Sing and dance along with The Shazzbots as they take us on a musical adventure through the galaxy… starting in Hilliard’s Station Park.

Join us Saturday, June 20 from 10:30 a.m. to noon for this high-energy experience.

Summer Spray Down

Cool off this summer with a spray down from a Norwich Township fire truck! Dance and frolic in the water at three spray downs, each held from 1 to 1:45 p.m.

Freedom Fest and Independence Day Parade

Hilliard’s Independence Day Parade will step off at 9 a.m. Saturday, July 4 from the Franklin County Fairgrounds and make its way through downtown Hilliard.

Organizations wishing to participate must register with the fairgrounds. Entries are limited and accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.

Freedom Fest will be held the evening of Saturday, July 4 in Roger A. Reynolds Municipal Park from 5 to 11 p.m.

Enjoy live music from hit songwriter and recording artist Cole Swindell, a Kid Zone with inflatables and games, a fleet of food trucks, and more.

Magic in the Park

Experience a fantastical afternoon filled with tricks, games, and mind-blowing magic in Weaver Park from 3 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, July 19!

Scoop, Chalk, and Celebrate Ohio 250 Goes to the Fair

Celebrate July’s America 250 theme, Ohio Goes to the Fair, with an afternoon of color, creativity, and cool treats in Hilliard’s Station Park.

From 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday, July 26, splash in the fountains, enjoy free ice cream, and join a talented local chalk artist in transforming the park into a vibrant outdoor gallery.

Doggie Dippin’

Give your pups a chance to cool off this summer at our annual end-of-year dog swim at CBS Community Pool! Join us from 4:30 to 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 8.

Dogs 40 pounds and under may swim from 4:30 to 5:45 p.m. and dogs over 40 pounds may swim from 6 to 7:15 p.m. There is a $5 admission fee per dog, with cash and card accepted on site.
