The City of Hilliard is pleased to introduce Jessica Gibson as its new Fiscal Officer.

In this role, Gibson will perform a variety of accounting, auditing, and financial reporting functions in the Finance Department. She will help oversee the operating and capital budgets and assist in the overall fiscal management of the City.

Most recently, Gibson served as a Fiscal Analyst for the City of Chattanooga, Tenn., where she focused on budget analysis and expenditure tracking. She’s excited to bring those skills to the City of Hilliard.

“Municipal finance has become my passion and serving the public is something I take very seriously,” Gibson said. “I’m excited to join Hilliard’s talented Finance team and use my skills to benefit both the City and the residents.”

Gibson returns to the Buckeye state after growing up in the Dayton area. She attended college at Alabama A&M University and went on to earn her Master of Business Administration from Colorado State University. In her free time, Gibson enjoys traveling, thrift shopping, gardening, and playing with her two-year-old Yorkie Jaxx.

Welcome to the City of Hilliard, Jessica!
