The leadup to summer is here, and the City is kicking things off with some exciting May events!
Touch a Truck
Next week, take a deep dive into the trucks you see daily in the community at Touch a Truck, an event held in Downtown Hilliard. Climb into a Norwich Township fire truck, peek into a Hilliard Police cruiser, sit in the driver’s seat of a semi-truck, and more. Plus, snag a construction vest, enjoy inflatable games, and take a picture with a spotted dog strolling character.
This event is perfect for kids fascinated with things on four (or more!) wheels and is a great opportunity to get up close and personal with the vehicles that shape our community every day.
Touch a Truck will be held May 15, from 10 a.m. – noon at the Wayne and Center streets parking lot in Downtown Hilliard.

Opening Day At The Ballpark
Baseball enthusiasts will be pleased to hear the event will feature a screening of one of the greatest baseball movies of all time, Angels in the Outfield, on the ballfields in Municipal Park. Plus, enjoy free popcorn, run the bases, and create a baseball craft. Remember to bring a chair or blanket to best enjoy the evening.
Opening Day at the Ballpark will be May 16 from 6-9 p.m. at ballfields 1 to 4 in Municipal Park.
