The City of Hilliard Division of Police will once again host its annual National Night Out on Tuesday, Aug. 4.
Join Hilliard police officers from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at Hoffman Trails Elementary School, 4301 Hoffman Farms Drive, for this free community event featuring activities for all ages, including:
- Police cruiser and equipment displays
- Learn about police K9s and see demonstrations of them in action
- Meet with officers to learn about programs and services offered by the division, including vacation house checks, bike registration, Women’s Self-Defense Classes, and the Citizen’s Police Academy.
- A dunk tank
- Fire truck and equipment demonstrations by the Norwich Township Fire Department
- Free food and treats
- A bike raffle, backpack giveaway and prize wheel courtesy of Target, plus more!
National Night Out began in 1984 as an annual community-building campaign that promotes partnerships between law enforcement and the communities they serve.
Today, millions of people in thousands of communities across Ohio and the nation participate in National Night Out each year, strengthening relationships between residents and law enforcement.
Hilliard residents of all ages are invited to attend this free event and enjoy an evening of family-friendly actives.
