The City of Hilliard continues to respond to reports of downed trees, downed power lines, power outages, and property damage from the Aug. 11 storm events.
Please give emergency responders, utility crews, and City staff plenty of room to work safely.
Calling for Assistance:
- If you have an urgent emergency, call 911.
- For non-emergency issues, such as reporting non-hazardous tree damage blocking a roadway, call 614-876-7321.
Chipper Service
Friday, Aug. 14 Update:
City crews are continuing to make their way through the community to chip and collect tree limbs and storm debris and will be back out Monday morning.
Crews have completed the Blue Zone and have moved to the Purple Zone, as well as the Britton Farms and Carrington Place neighborhoods. They will then make their way into the Green Zone.

If crews have already been through your neighborhood: If you have additional limbs and branches that need removed, submit a Hilliard Helps ticket for chipper service. Crews will make additional passes through areas.
If your area has not yet been serviced: Place your branches and limbs along the curb, and our crews will collect them as they work through the area. You do not need to submit a Hilliard Helps ticket.
Please note that if you have already submitted a Hilliard Helps ticket, crews may not reach your location by Monday, the usual weekly chipper service day. They will address your ticket as they make their way through the community.

Franklin County Emergency Management & Homeland Security is encouraging residents who experienced storm-related damage to submit a report.
The information collected will help document the storm’s impact and provide a clearer picture of damage across the community.
