Carson Combs Hired as Planning Manager

The City of Hilliard has hired Carson Combs as its new planning manager. 

He brings more than 20 years of planning experience, in both the private and public sectors, to the City of Hilliard. In his new role, Combs will work with residents and businesses on zoning applications, assist with the community plan update, and keep the community informed of city planning developments.  

Most recently, Combs has worked for Planning NEXT and as a private zoning consultant. He also held multiple planning roles at the City of Dublin, where he worked as a planning intern, planner, and senior planner from 1998 – 2012.

Combs graduated from The Ohio State University with dual master’s degrees in landscape architecture and regional planning, and a bachelor’s degree in geography.

Combs has taught planning and design classes as an adjunct professor at The Ohio State University. He’s also a beekeeping instructor at his own farm, Mockingbird Meadows, located in Marysville, Ohio.
