The City of Hilliard is inviting residents and community stakeholders to share their perspectives on e-bikes, e-scooters and other related micromobility devices during a community conversation.
The event will take place on Tuesday, Oct. 13 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at The Well (Alton Hall), 3993 Cosgray Road.
The conversation will primarily consist of small-table discussions focused on how these devices are used in the Hilliard community and how the City and other partners can support safe riding.
Participants will have an opportunity to share feedback about:
- Different types of devices and rider characteristics
- Acceptable and problematic rider behaviors
- Ways to approach and educate riders and other stakeholders about safe riding
- Whether additional regulations should be considered and, if so, what those regulations could look like
Residents and community stakeholders are encouraged to attend and share their experiences, concerns and ideas.
