Annual memberships to The Well will be available starting March 4, with special perks available for the center’s “founding members.”
Individual memberships for residents living inside City limits will start at $30 per month or $288 per year, with each additional family member or senior being $20 per month or $192 per year. People working within the City’s corporate boundaries and paying income taxes to Hilliard will enjoy that same rate.
Non-resident rates for those living outside the City’s corporate boundaries will start at $60 per month or $576 per year. Additional family members and seniors will be $40 per month or $384 per year.
HSC members will benefit from discounted Well memberships before meeting the senior age requirement.

Membership rates are based on projections for the cost of operating the center and by comparing rates with similar facilities in surrounding communities.
“Our goal is to deliver great value for residents while providing top-tier amenities at competitive rates,” said Ed Merritt, Director of Recreation and Parks. “Tax dollars have made the center’s construction and ongoing upkeep possible, while membership fees are needed to cover ongoing operatingcosts. In that way, The Well will continue to provide exceptional services and remain financially viable for years to come.”
This marks a significant milestone in the development for The Well, which will provide a welcoming, inclusive space for people to achieve their recreation and wellness goals. Amenities in the center will include an indoor aquatic center, multi-purpose gyms, fitness facilities, an elevated walking and jogging track, rentable community spaces, classrooms, commercial and teaching kitchens, and a café.
The Well is designed to foster a community-centered approach to wellness. Through a combination of state-of-the-art facilities, supportive community programs, and a commitment to accessibility, the center will serve as a vital resource for the community.
For a limited time starting March 4, individuals who buy a membership will become a special part of the facility’s history from the beginning as Founding Members. Founding Members will receive exclusive benefits and special offers.
