The Planning Division works with citizens, business owners, and community leaders to regulate the City’s zoning and property maintenance code to meet the City’s master and development plans.

The Planning Division completes the development process by responding to proposals and working with developers and residents.

The Planning Division prepares staff reports concerning development applications and presents to the Planning and Zoning Commission and the Board of Zoning Appeals, and occasionally attends Council meetings to discuss zoning and development proposals. 

Contact the Planning Division for building permit applications, property inspections, sign and fence permits, or to report a zoning violation. Residents can also access the OpenGov portal for various Planning Division forms, permits, and applications.
