Council seeking applicants for Arts Commission 

Do you have a passion for art and believe it improves our community? Hilliard City Council is accepting applications for a vacancy on the City’s Public Arts Commission.

Candidates must be City of Hilliard residents and qualified by education, experience and/or training in one or more of the following areas: architecture, urban planning, art or architectural history, design, creating art, promoting art, funding art, commissioning art, maintaining or repairing art, art instruction or having an education in art history and/or the fine arts.

Generally, the PAC advises City Council and the City Manager on the implementation of a public arts program, including the funding, selection, acquisition, maintenance and placement of public art in the City.

The Public Arts Commission meets at 5 p.m. on the first Monday of each month at the Municipal Building, 3800 Municipal Way, Hilliard.

To be considered, fill out the application below and attach the necessary documentation, including a resume, by Sept. 6.
