Map of Scioto Darby Rd and Walcutt Rd improvements

Hilliard City Council approved construction on Scioto Darby and Walcutt roads that will add a roundabout at Walcutt Road and multi-use path on Scioto Darby Road between Scioto Farms Drive and Leap Road.

These improvements will increase vehicle capacity and improve safety for pedestrians, bicyclists, and drivers on Scioto Darby and Walcutt roads.

The City received a grant from Ohio Public Works Commission (OPWC) for $1 million. Total cost of the Scioto Darby and Walcutt roads improvement project is $1,920,000.

A public meeting, feasibility study and evaluation of alternatives were completed in 2018. Construction is expected to start in early 2021 and finish in summer 2021. Scioto Darby Road will close for approximately two weeks in summer 2021. More information will be announced on the City’s website as the project progresses.
