Posted May 31, 2019 in Police by Andrea Litchfield

The Hilliard Division of Police will join other nearby police agencies June 15 for a special Suburban Police Career Day.

The event, the first of its kind the area, will give people interested in becoming a suburban police officer a chance to network with multiple agencies simultaneously.

Dublin Police Department, Upper Arlington Police Department, Worthington Police Department and the Northwest Regional Emergency Communications Center (NRECC) and Hilliard police will hold the first joint recruitment event on Saturday, June 15, in Dublin.

The event starts at 2 p.m. with an introduction from each department. From 3 to 4 p.m. attendees may visit each agency’s booth, where officers will provide more information about the application process, test registration, background investigation, salary and benefits, and opportunities within each department.

“We’re excited to join our partnering police agencies for the Suburban Police Career Day,” said Hilliard Chief of Police Robert Fisher. “This event offers us an excellent opportunity to proactively engage candidates who represent the future of law enforcement and build upon the strong partnerships we share between police departments in Central Ohio.”

No prior law enforcement experience is necessary.
