Hilliard Rotary Club Donates to HPD

Deputy Chief Grile standing with Man

Thank you to the Hilliard Rotary Club for their generous donation to the Hilliard Division of Police! Yesterday, Deputy Chief Eric Grile accepted the donation from Johnny Dawson on behalf of the entire agency.

The club raised funds through its Run to Remember Walk on Sept. 11, a ceremony and walk/run dedicated to the First Responders and those who lost their lives during 9/11. The money will be used to help upgrade the buildings at Safety Town, which are used every year to teach children basic safety lessons about fire, pedestrians/traffic, water, guns, and poisons/drugs.

If you are interested in donating to help cover the cost of replacing the Safety Town buildings, please contact Andrea Litchfield at alitchfield@hilliardohio.gov.
