The City of Hilliard Community Relations Department received four national awards this week from the City-County Communications & Marketing Association (3CMA) at that organization’s annual conference in Arlington, Texas.
The team took home one first-place “Savvy” award, a second-place “Silver Circle” award, and two third-place “Awards of Excellence.”
The City received awards for the following communication projects:
- “Hilliard City Lab,” the package of communication concepts that launched the Hilliard City Lab brand in the “Economic Development” category;
- “Choose Hilliard,” a series of videos highlighting businesses in the “Regularly Scheduled Program” category;
- “Wear The HPD Badge,” a hiring marketing campaign that helped recruit Hilliard police officers in the “Government Service Delivery/Community Issue” category;
- “Your Hilliard,” a print publication that includes the City’s Recreation & Parks program guide in the “Graphic Design Publication” category.
Notably, the Hilliard City Lab entry was also among about 15 nominees for the “best of show” Diamond Award. More than 1,100 entries were entered in 38 categories from 329 communities in the competition.
The Savvy Awards recognize outstanding local government achievements in communications, public-sector marketing, and resident-government relationships.
