HPD donates supplies to Hilliard Food Pantry

Police department dropping off donations to the food pantry

Members of the Hilliard Division of Police are finding additional ways to serve the community during the COVID-19 pandemic.

On Thursday, several officers and clerks learned the Hilliard Food Pantry had a significant need for specific supplies for those the organization serves, including some individuals who are unable to shop for themselves.

Officers pooled resources and obtained many of the needed items. Peanut butter, toilet paper, baby wipes and canned fruit were among the items delivered to the pantry Friday morning.

“During difficult times, the Hilliard community knows how to pull together,” said Chief of Police Robert Fisher. I’m extremely proud of our staff for ensuring members of the community are not only safe during this pandemic, but have the essential supplies they need.”
