HPD participates in Skilled Trades Expo

HPD at Expo

The City of Hilliard Division of Police was among the participants at the Hilliard City Schools Skilled Trades Expo, held at the Franklin County Fairgrounds on Oct. 11.

This event provides knowledge and hands-on experiences to students for alternative pathways for viable career opportunities after graduation. The Expo is partnered with the Ohio Contractors Association, the Associated General Contractors of America, and the Building Trades Council.

With there being such a high demand for skilled trades workers, it’s important for students to be educated on career options other than going to college after they graduate.
