A small section of Scioto Darby Road immediately west of Cosgray Road will be closed starting at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 19, and reopen to the public by the morning of Sunday, Dec. 24. The north and east legs of the Scioto Darby Road/Cosgray Road intersection will remain open.

The closure is necessary for installation of a new sanitary sewer line across Scioto Darby Road that will service The Well, Hilliard’s new recreation and wellness center. It also will allow for a waterline crossing to connect to the new Cosgray Road extension.

The official detour will take motorists north, accessing Elliott Road, Hayden Run Road, and Cosgray Road back down to Scioto Darby Road.

Access to businesses in Darby Town Center will remain open, with access from both Scioto Darby Road and Cosgray Road. However, using this plaza as a cut-through is prohibited during this closure.
